The modular scalar system ensures an optimal solution for charging next generation cars. Furthermore, the charging station is able to charge simultaneously up to four cars and the dynamic power management guarantees the minimization of the charge time. The grid overload protection is configurable and the charging station is easy to install, operate and service.
Through the remote control and configuration software it is possible to monitor the charging stations’ activities. Wireline and wireless connectivity (Ethernet, 3G, GPRS) are available. Both, local (with RFID & whitelist) and remote authentication and billing (over OCPP) are possible. Back office system integration with OCPP 1.5 as well as integration of smartphone applications and with roaming service providers can be implemented.
The 150 kW DC charging station features two DC charging points: a CCS up to 100 kW and a CHAdeMO up to 63 kW. Moreover, each charging station offers also AC charging points: a Type 2 plug up to 43 kW and a Type 2 socket up to 22 kW.
Easy charging process: simply connect your car to the charging point and authenticate with your RFID card. The car will start charging automatically. Once the batteries are fully charged, charging stops automatically.
The DC power capacity can dynamically be adapted to the maximum charging power of the car. For a car with 68 kW charging power this reduces the charging time by up to 35 % compared to a 50 kW charging station.
With up to four vehicles charged simultaneously, waiting times for a free outlet decrease.
Due to its modular rectifier concept, the DC charging power can be scaled up to 150 kW in 10 kW steps.
The scalar concept allows easy adaptations to e-Bus and e-Truck charging solutions.
Charging cable and gun can be replaced upon future evolution.
CCS cable and gun support charging currents up to 200 A and battery systems with up to 850 V.
